I was referring to paint; there was a plausible myth that part of the reason the Hindenburgh burned down was because it had two types of paint that essentially caused a thermite reaction.

It's very likely to have been the paint when it scrapped with the antenna. The sad thing is that the Hindenburg was planned to be filled with the very safe Helium, but the USA didn't want to sell it to Germany because of the Nazis.
A good reason I guess, especially since zeppelins were also used as weapons. It's a pity this was a civillian zeppelin though
