Here's my interpretation of a Galactus type of creature. He moves from solar system to solar system gathering suns. The heat helps warm his freezing insides. Image took about 5-6 hours.Related content

I used ZBrush 2 to model the figure and photoshop brushes for the mist and space background.

I have to say.. watching the latest Fantastic Four movie while they explained the Surfer's master made me think of this piece instantly.

I love this, from the idea to the execution. Especially the details of his face and the ornamentation on his body. I did actually have a little trouble identifying it as a sun at first glance and my only suggestion is that it could stand to be a little brighter as such. But it's still momentously awesome.

what i hate about the new deviantart look is that u cant tell by looking in the description what kind of piece it is, so i dont know if this is digital art, or 3d rendering. But thats a complain i have with devarts new look.
