Description
This is the title card from a very special upcoming episode of Familiar Faces. So special I may need some help...A tragicly under used Batman Batman villian, dispite the fact that her first apparence is so rememberable.

Did you see her 'redsign' done for another ep much later in the series? She was in love with that gator guy. Man, that was *really* bad. Gothic dollies just don't work. (Granted, she's not a doll. But you get the idea.)

She suffers from dwarfisum and no one took her sereusly because of how old she looked.

I wasn't a HUGE fan of Batman TAS, but I remember when I was growing up I would ALWAYS try to catch the episode with this character. She was so cool.

A friend of mine couldn't believe I hadn't seen this one when he was describing the villain ... and I scoffed at him because it sounded a bit lame. He bet me dinner that I would like the episode. I ended up liking both episode and character! A really well done one. Also made me think of what happens to the actors and actresses who fall on the wayside ... people like Gary Coleman who you grow up with and then they disappear.

It may have had something to do with her first introduction being in the cartoon, if I'm right. Also, Batman's hampered since he can't actually HIT her.

ah, the pathos.
that was one of the best things about that batman series: villains who you could really care about and feel sorry for. in that department, baby doll was second only Dr. Victor Fries (Mr. Freeze).

Definitely one of the best episodes of Batman: TAS. She didn't have any powers, any super powerful gimmicks, or grand schemes... She was an individual who was hurting, lonely, wanted a place in the world and couldn't find one because of her medical condition.
While many of the villains in TAS had a sympathetic side to them (Freeze, Mad Hatter, Harley, etc..), she was the only villain I ever really felt sorry for. Probably due to the end of the first episode she was in.

It's Baby Doll! I love that episode, it always gets overlooked by various B:TAS fans. And funny thing about Baby Doll, on the TGWTG forums; a friend of mine has wondered if the people who made the Orphan were familiar with the episode.

Baby Doll from Batman the Animated series. I only watched the series recently and found the ending to this episode as a real tearjerker.

Granted from a (I think) Justice League movie I did not really watch, but I recognize her. Though if you had not mentioned Batman I probably would have thought of the villain from Cats Don't Dance, another movie I did not really watch but saw enough to be able to know about three characters.
