Very nicely done tutorial; easy to follow and simple to navigate through. You could've picked a better subject, though, the shiny stuff is starting to get kind of old.

The subject may be a bit stale, but for the photoshop noobs this is a good and familiar technique to learn that can easily be applied to other effects. While it focuses on the aqua-style button, it demystifies some of the functions of layer styles and blending options, something essential for any photoshopper to be comfortable with. At least thats my opinion anyway.
