Description
Yup that tacticool train continues onward! I actually wanted to draw her with her rifle. I mean platform. Obviously. I hadn't found a good pose for it so far. I've said this before, drawing guns is hard. Its really easy to have them come out looking bendy. I like the level of "stuff" just straight up gear I can strap on to her, but I think I can do more. I dunno I think that figuring out and just loading her up with gear is tons of fun a good exercise. Its difficult. Like I couldnt figure out where to strap on her katanas on this drawing and have it look good. One day I'll figure out how to cram swords, her small guns, and her assault rifle all in one shot. Also follow me onΒ Twitter .Β

Thanks dude! Guns are hard, but I'm jealous of all the people who can do it, so I wanna do it too.
I always though it was super cute when animal girls (or boys) had like a special little button or strap on their pants for their tails, like a nice little extra design just for them.

I might have to tackle this one too lol!
Love it!!
Kinda odd about the headphones, how is she hearing anything?

Ahahaha, I knew the headphones would come up. I got two explanations.Β
Either she is the type of anime kemonomimi that has both human ears AND animal ears
Or. OR! In case she only has fox ears, then they would be too delicate and sensitive for a headset so she would use bone conduction headset, which vibrates the sounds THROUGH the bones in your skull and into the ear canals. And I am not making that up, that is a thing that exists.

Looking good. Not sure her butt should stick out so much in baggy pants, but if it's a stylistic choice, it is a fine booty
I like that you avoid the "T&A" pose here. Those make me wince in pain at what their poor spines must be feeling. A lot of textures clash in her upper back and make it hard to tell what's what, but I think that's just subjective to me. There seem to be some shared tangents/ambiguity between the parts of the rear of the rifle and her body. Otherwise, everything looks pretty much flawless.
If you want to cram in swords, perhaps pair the katana holsters one on top of the other, both on her belt on the farther side of her waist, or slung low atop her shoulders, so that the holster leans against her lower back.

Even the baggiest pants I could ever draw would NEVER be baggy around the booty, that would be insanity.
I wasn't necessarily avoiding the T&A pose, cause like you said, twas a nice booty. I'm certainly not above T&A, in fact there is probably gonna be a whole lot more of that here pretty soon. But that's beside the point. The outfit and the pose I wanted did not lend itself to gratuity so rule of cool won out on this one.
As for the gun, it was the shading, I knew I should have shaded the rest of the gun! I got too impatient and wanted to post it. Shading it would have helped so much in showing whats what.
I did want to cram in the swords and I thought about what you mentioned, but putting the swords on her belt on her left side, that is in front. would have blocked the view of the rifle which I wanted to focus on. And I couldn'tΒ put them on the far side of her waist because she is right handed right, so it would not make sense to have to reach with her left hand to draw her swords. How do we know she is right handed? Her gun. Her right hand is on the handle while her left is on the foregrip. I even thought of flipping the image so she was facing to the right, but then her hands would be on the wrong parts of the rifle and the action would be on the wrong side. And here's the thing:
Would anyone in the universe have noticed? - No.
Would I have noticed? - Yes.

That is true about the baggy pants, and definitely I understand the impatience, I'm like that too.
I know it actually is quite easy to unsheathe straight swords, even longswords, from the same side they are wielded on. (I can hunt down a demonstration video if you'd like) Not sure about katanas though. The need for consistency makes sense though. Too bad swords worn upright on the back Deadpool-style, are basically impossible to take out.

Yeah show me, I'm always looking at stuff or inspiration.
So straight swords might works, but she is Japanese, and its part of her story so they are indeedΒ Weeb Swords katanas, and you know, katanas are supposed to wear them on your left hip, edges facing up, all that jazz.Β
I thought about using a a set up like Deadpool for her swords on her back, but they would have to be really short swords. Although there is a type of scabbard that is open on one side or mostly open that allows swords to be carried on the back, but that was only ever used on western swords though.Β

The video- youtu.be/94c88HfACfQ
Ah, I didn't know katanas were supposed to be worn like that. The deadpool style would practically require a pair of knives held very high on the back, though, but unsheathing those *would* look sick if you were okay with just long knives.

Oh its Lindybeige! I love that guy! He has many videos though, I definitely hadn't seen that one.
But yeah Katana etiquette is a whole thing and being weaboo trash that I am, I'm way into that kinda stuff.
