Drew this during the weekend, completely forgot about it for the next days...before been found and pencil/stump shaded in class today.It's one of those experimentation doodles, the only one that I actually liked. The main changes are mostly within the facial traits, especially the eyes and nose. Well....maybe I could stick with "animesque" features...or not. Ah well~
The highlights in the eyes were done with SAI, otherwise, my pen eraser would have erased the whole eye.

Yeah, spent more time on the limbs and lower body since a plate carrier tends to hide the things that allows you to tell whether it's a female or not lol~

Right now I haven't developed much my style.
But I have recently upgraded my PhotoShop from CS2 to CS6 standar. So in future projects I may be able to improve my coloring style.

Soon. Lately I hadn't had much chance of drawing or painting. Been a little busy learning to use Adobe After Effects CS6. At the end of the year I might get into doing animations.

Smooth, clean, and a great attention to detail.

Though if I may say, the full-view of this picture is a bit too large. It's blurry and a bit hard to see. But other than that, I like it a lot.

Thanks, I guess it's the 600dpi setting I used while scanning, it gives hi-res images to ink later. So I can catch up on some small details.
Only downside been those precisely rendered "dotty" pencils lines. :/

I wonder for a while... it the mic to high... it should be at lower than mouth not between mouth and nose..

Probably a bad habit I got from drawing tank crew headphones.
I usually draw more accessories than that, this is merely what I call a "lightweight" load-out. XD

I used to draw small too, due to the fact that almost everything I did back then were doodles in school notebooks, drawing bigger definitely helps at getting the most intricate details well.
Yeah, I'm not very familiar with those weird looking Magpul stocks, guess that I'll have to practice a bit more on that. but my main concern were the face and anatomy...gotta balance that with technical drawings.
