Practice with non-humans, rock textures, and depth. Inspired by the GW2 dragon, Kralkatorik. As far as I know, there's no real concept art of him that's been released. Just having fun making a design based on his traits of being a jerk, and his minion, The Shatterer.Related content

Yep, I've certainly heard of GWG2 - I most frequently post in the Library of Whispers, for obvious reasons. Sure, I wouldn't mind having some of my art featured on your folks' new site. I'm actually finishing up a big GW2 related piece that I think would be a better pick in the gallery than this one.

Ok that's great to hear! Right now we are just trying to recruit artists (we've got about 5 or 6 right now) and we'll give you full flexibility as to what you wish to post on the website. We're basically trying to create a centralized website to help artists and writers gain more exposure within the GW2 gaming community. We've got a few artists on board from here including 3bepop and AMolino. Now that you mention it I think that is the Shatterer that I sent you, Kralkatorik is made up of jewel shards, or so the novel says

(ok now i sean a screan sho of the sheter ~.~ that can actuly work very well vor his desine ...but kinde its remembering my on abadonn .. well if i played mindly as underling of abbadon in gw1 i will by vor him "unspeakabel dragon name" in gw2

Amazing! I really like what you've done with the little details like the little crack around his eyes, and the runes on his horns and undersides of his arm.

i really like this! the vibrant pink makes the picture stands out and gives it a fantasy kind of feel. the silhouette is an interesting touch to the picture and the detail, like the little bits of rock flying off the monster, is really good

The silhouettes were probably my favorite part to draw since they're so strongly contrasted and the main objects showing the dragon's size.
