Behold! my first attempt at heavy armor! So many tiny details... *dies*

Ah yes Defenders, easy to figure out, their main goal is to protect others around them, they are often found teamed up with those who practice healing and summoning as their abilities leave them vulnerable. Defenders specialize in creating a variety of walls and barriers, able to withstand not only physical or elemental attacks, but mental ones as well. They say that a barrier made by a skilled defender is impossible to break. Some Defenders are also known to learn more advanced healing techniques than most other classes, leaving them second only to healers.

As far as gear goes a defender is most often found wearing heavy armor or something similar, they take great care in the selection and maintenance of said armor. They spend long hours practicing with their armor on so that they are not sluggish due to the heavy weight. They tend to use heavier or long reaching weaponry, though they practice fighting with the intent to disarm rather than to kill.
