Description
Messing around with oblique xforms more. I'm loving how these turn out.Apo+Chaotica.

The longer I look at this, the more I see: symmetrical pieces
"hidden" by asymmetrical arrangement, a surprisingly wide hue range (easy to miss due to the relatively low saturation), shapes repeated but distorted. It reminds me not only of the other oblique linear apo work I've seen, but also of some of Dan Wills's UF works (specifically the negmandel zooms). On a less technical level, it reminds me of the gathered folds of an extremely voluminous skirt, or maybe hair.
I guess the only thing i'd suggest is that, with all those fine-grained parallel-ish lines, higher supersampling (say, 4) would have really suited the image, making it both smoother and sharper.

It could be, however it's just linear and an fxform. Escher with beta=0 is the same as linear, though.
