Description
That moment, I started questioning everything I fought for. Were my actions justified, or was I a blind crusader who didn't bother to look up at the sky and dream of freedom on my own terms? Was I just played as a pawn...? The more I reflected upon the chaos of the battlefield around me, the more doubt I had that my actions were actually helping me achieve my goals. I was admonished from flying too close to the sun, but I also wanted to shine brightly...not spiral headfirst into darkness.Apo + Chaotica

Powerful, stunning work! This is what it must feel like to wear the one ring to rule them all.
Nice accompanying piece/description as well.

What a captivating image. Certainly brings to mind an Einstein quote, "From discord, find harmony."
But I'm curious...did you make up that text in your artist's comments yourself? It almost sounds like something that's been quoted...and if it isn't I hope you take it as a compliment. ^_^

The text in the comments is entirely original most of the time, including here. I try to share stories from my mind in my artwork, and use the description as a way of describing the scene I personally see.
I sometimes will quote directly from other material (Demon Navi ) when I do fanart if there's a really striking line that matches what I've worked on. Even then, I still try to introduce my own twist on quotes, and try to present a scene or paragraph in text that supports both what I've created, and the context of the quote in some regard.

I don't release my artwork at that size because people would probably abuse it as stock...

I'd love to use your picture for my story, if that is ok with you of course? I'd give you credit for all the amazing artwork

No. I'm not interested in my artwork being used without being adequately compensated for the time it takes me to create these types of things, and credit alone typically is not something I'd consider sufficient.

Thank you! Normally I have fire and reds as a hopeful element, but here the black seems to be drowning the red colors. It's a bit ... unusual for me, but I really love the effect.

Oh my gosh... This is actually one of the greatest works I've ever seen.
I don't really have words to describe this right now!

With as often as I work with fire, the quality of black in this is a bit different, and a bit more painful. It's definitely not my usual coloring scheme or structural layout, but I really liked how the structures and shapes just felt when working with it because of how visceral they were.

Thank you! It's perhaps one of the more contrasted pieces of artwork I've made in a while, at least emotionally

Thank you! I enjoy writing a bit of the stories that both inspire, and were inspired by the artwork I create
