Description A raid earlier that day by Dr. Eggman's army had captured many Freedom Fighters, but only one of them interested the mad scientist. That one individual was Rotor Walrus, not only the lead scientist and engineer of the Freedom Fighters, but also a close friend of Eggman's archrival; Sonic the Hedgehog. This was such a good catch indeed, especially after his earlier capture of one Miles "Tails" Prower, whose information had come in handy in the raid that now gave Dr. Eggman his next biggest catch. Surely two of his closest friends captured would make it easier to catch that blasted hedgehog. And he had the perfect room in mind for Rotor, the same kind he had used for his young friend in fact.

- An Hour Later -

Rotor struggled against the shackles holding his arms behind his back. He was nervous, but he tried not to show it as the two large robots carried him off to a new cell room. He figured that he was being taken to be tortured for information. Dr. Eggman had visited his previous cell room and said as much, while also taunting the walrus about his family. Rotor had scowled as the two robots picked up by his biceps and lead him away, the mad scientist laughing as they did.

The door to the cell opened and he looked around. It was.... surprisingly plain and subdued compared to what he had come to expect from Eggman. The only things of note was Eggman's giant Emblem on all of the walls, a series of cameras on the corners of the roof and on the roof itself a series of different lights. Rotor found this odd, but not nearly as odd as the device in the center of the room. It was an egg-shaped device with two holes in the center, a long groove that lead to two yellow protrusions on the sides. As they approached, the device opened up and Rotor's legs were forced inside of it. When it closed again, the wall on his left opened up, revealing a large screen with which Eggman's face appeared.

"Hello again, Rotor." Eggman said, his voice as clear as if he was in the room with me. "I have some questions for you, some of which your young friend didn't know about." This last comment explained a lot. Tails had gone missing a week ago and they had suspected Eggman; but they didn't know where Tails was. But Rotor had a feeling he knew.

"Where's Tails, what did you do with him?" Rotor snarled. His nervousness had disappeared momentarily out of concern for his buddy.

"He's fine, he's currently resting in his own stocks." Dr. Eggman said.

"Stocks? Is that what this is?" Rotor said.

"Indeed. But why explain what I plan to do when I can show you?" Eggman replied as the lights went out, expect for a large bright beam over his head. As Rotor watched the screen, preparing to ask another question, he felt something soft brushing against his foot. A chill ran up his spine in shock and he felt his mouth twitch and he turned his head to look at his trapped feet. He could see the tops of his toes over the stocks and something else. A large yellow feather was being dragged up and down the bottom of Rotor's left foot by a mechanical tentacle. It tickled, a lot. Rotor kept himself from laughing as best as he could though, but his eyes had closed forcefully and his toes wiggled. Despite the fact that he always went barefoot except when absolutely necessary, Rotor's feet were surprisingly very sensitive. "Ha ha ha ha! I see that you are already are struggling. Though I commend you, Tails did not last long before he started laughing."

"You sick hehehehe!!" Rotor had not meant to let the giggles escape, but not that they had gotten out, he found it more difficult to stop them from continuing. He had hoped that Sonic, Sally and the others would be on their way before now, but now he wished that they would hurry up!

And this is finally done and I'm extremely happy for it! As I said before, I love Rotor. He's an extremely under-appreciated character in Sonic the Hedgehog and it's absolutely a shame that he's not used more often. This is a remake of an older picture I had done, but now with more things that I wanted to add before but didn't know how to do since I was new to digital coloring chaosgreiga.deviantart.com/art… . Such as the emblem and the best lighting and shading effects. Rotor's hat. I liked the original, but I love this version far more.

And hopefully you do as well. Hopefully Rotor and Tails will be saved soon enough.

Sorry for not commenting on this earlier, but I must that I absolutely love how this picture came out You really went above and beyond the original, Chaos, giving this its own flair rather than just redrawing the same angles and designs. The story is also a wonderful touch and really sets the mood for poor Rotor's torture. As usual, the coloring and linework are fantastic and I just love Rotor's barely withheld ticklish grin I dearly hope we see more of our favorite walrus from you in the future! I fully agree that he just doesn't get enough appreciation.

I like Rotor too, his slow but resourceful genius gives the cast a good counter in contrast to Sonic's speed and attitude, Tails' sidekickship, Sally's leadership, Bunny and Amy's punch, and Antoine's comic relief.

Depends on if there is enough views on both sites for it.
