Description My other assignment in the classes from last quarter, taught by Gary Goldman. We were given some poses and the backgrounds, and had to animate Banjo the Woodpile Cat jumping off the truck axel. (And if you haven't seen this cartoon, you need to! It's so cute!)

It was only about two and a half seconds, so I had to repeat the film, and pad it to fit the 10 sec requirement. ^^

To continue to gush, I can't convey how much I learned in those classes. :3

I haven't seen Banjo the Woodpile Cat but I've seen some clips of it like the one when Banjo, I believe, is at a pub/bar...where there was this one guy who looks drunk or something?

watching this, the animation is really well done. This makes me wish more cartoons where animated like this...you know?

*sighs* sorry for sounding boaring, I just can't really express myself from the outside.

Banjo reminds me of Edmond as a kitten from Rock-A-Doodle same artist Don Bluth

Yeah, a lot of Bluth's characters look similar to one another.

Hehe, he certainly taught you guys well. It looks pretty good from here.

There's a free online program called Pencil, if you want to try your hand at animating. ^_^

It's called Banjo the Woodpile Cat. It was Don Bluth's first work, and it was made in the 70's. (I think you can find it on Youtube.)
