So yep. This was my entry to SavAnijam 2007, a 24-hour animation competition at SCAD. The surprise theme this year was 'Spin/Twist.' This won Honorable Mention. :3Done in Flash, frame-by-frame. This was really fun to do, and I'm really happy with it. I've never done any four legged motion before. And I got to do bouncy stuff, which is my fave. Bouncy and the overlapping action of the tail. ^^ Makes me happy.
And yeah, he's missing his tail in one shot. 24 hours goes by fast. ._.

+++SCAD @_@! *looking into that for college* They were very insistent upon NOT showing me any 2D animation during the tour, so I got the impression that the animation department wasn't So Cool. But clearly this is not entirely true?!

XDDD Ah, that's probably because the head of the department is very anti-2D. The guy thinks it's a dead art, and wants to try not to put much emphasis on the program. Of course there are still many 2d people in the major, and there are still some professors trying to keep that element alive. (We still have Stop Motion courses here, so I doubt 2D is ever going to go out.)

XD Well, did you get to take a tour of Montgomery Hall? There are a bunch of light tables there, and ten capture stands. (Oh, and the new Cintiqs. <3) So the 2D stuff is there.

Montgomery Hall = the big old animation building with that giant screeny thing in the front? Yeah they have like a zillion stuffs. @_@! Our tour guide was also in 2D animation, but apparently that didn't allow him to show us any of it. Lulz. We did get to see a fancy napping chair, though.

Odd that you didn't see any of it. If you went to the top floor, the animation tables were to your left. But maybe there were classes going on, so maybe that's why you didn't get to see them. ^^

This was so dang cute it is not even funny! You really made the animation very bouncy and fluid which made this all the more enjoyable. Also I think that you fallowed the theme dead on. Great job!

Wow. very cool. Even thought the lines were a little rough, it was very well done, and I could follow it well. the movements were smooth and fluid. The ending was sad and funny LOL Have you ever thought of doing animation stuff professionally? you'd be good at it ^^

That was amazing! I loved the weight and timing in the animation and the rough lines gave it a better sense of movement. The story was awesome, too. I loved it!

This is awesome, love the movements of the fox, that was extremely cool. I like that nice little ending there, kind of a surprise, but somehow you half expect it.
