Part 2Well, I said I'd eventually make a tutorial for my Demon Sculpt , and here it is.
To be honest, it was a rather complicated sculpture, so this is a little more complex than what it takes to make a beginner maquette.

Dickblick.com has several gauges of armature wire. The brass tubing is a bit more difficult for me to find. If you know of a solid online store that sells those bad boys : D drop me a line. Good stuff, btw.

Seems that Towerhobbies.com has lots of sizes of square brass tubing, but I've never ordered from them before. But thanks for the heads up about Dickblick. I like using galvanized wire more than armature wire, but both have their uses. Thanks!

Yeah, craft stores usually carry the flimsy aluminum stuff. I'm going to have to find where they carry 10 guage steel wire, because I can't seem to find it at hardware stores, or at craft stores. For years, I've simply been using the college art store, though now that I've graduated, I'm gonna have to find it in the normal world too. XD

Yeah, and twisting it.. I never would have thought of that... Makes it easier to shape.
Uh, can any type of metal do for this craft, or can some of them cause problems when put in the oven (haven't had time to read it yet, cramming some art into my gallery for Comic-Con this Thursday, so reading will have to wait)

No, I'm pretty sure most metals will be fine, I don't think any of them melt at 275 degrees F. Though I think I might avoid any wires that have a plastic coating, because that can melt and release bad fumes.
