Recently, with the new edition of warhammer 40k, i obtained a lot of primaris space marines from the starter box. I had only recently got rid of all of my blood angels, so needed a new paint scheme. I wanted something that was quick to paint, but still looked awesome.

I looked into various options. I had recently bought a retribution Gold spray, planning on turning some of the space marines i'd kept into statues for objectives, so i decided to use it as my main colour. As i progressed through the ideas, i found the scheme getting more and more complex as i developed it. I loved the models, and wanted to do something cool looking, but still didnt want to take ages over it.

In the end, i came up with a fairly detailed approach, that still took less than half the time it usually would to paint my main army. These are still ongoing, including the bases, however i thought i would post up the 'extra' model, the 25th anniversary edition model as a guide for this quick painting method for anyone who wants it (i find alot of guides are aimed at those who wish for expert painting as apposed to table top quality, and the last one went down well).
