Description
As the title says. This was done in what little free time I have right now, whatnot with five science-oriented courses this term.Needless to say, I'm fascinated by Mass Effect despite not possessing any of the games or novels. To boot, I'm finding turians to be more interesting than most of the other species - the asari, the salarians, the batarians, and the elcor all have too much in common with previously-made alien/monster designs for my liking (twi'lek, greys, the cyclops, and krootox, respectively) the drell remind me of a genetically-modified desert soldier seen in one episode of Dark Angel crossed with the creature from the Black Lagoon, and the hanar are a bit flat when it comes to personality (no wonder Shepard referred to them once as "...big stupid jellyfish.")
Then again, it could just be me being fascinated by reptiles, which turians do resemble (I don't think anyone's come up with turtle-cats before LOL).
Anyways, I've got an idea in the works for when I can scrounge up the time, university life and all.
Mass Effect and Turian are (c) BioWare

Elcor are so damn annoying to talk to >.>. I wish my character would slump forward out of boredom listening to them XD.

No kidding. And to hear that there's an all-elcor Shakespearean cast - 14 hours of mind-numbing monotony.

Then again, there was that horrible film in the second game based on the events of the first game.

I think Bioware needs to go back watch Monty Python if they want to poke fun like that lol. Or at least some form of sattire.
Their satirical jokes are just so not funny >.>.

Holy crap... That is one freaking awesomely accurate sketch of a turian. Like a lot of people commenting I'd have to say that they are also my favorite race in the game. I never go on a mission without Garrus.

Hey, thanks! And of course, we can't forget the krogan - particularly Wrex and Grunt.

Ah Grunt, my other favorite as well! I usually don't forget him unless it's a loyalty mission.

Turian is my biggest favorite on Mass EFfect world, after comes quarian^^
I remember first time I saw a turian (Nihlus) during played that game I was like, WOW WHAT A COOL RACE!! Even between human and turian didn't start so well.. to bad...
Love when turian use humans set phrase like Executor Pallin with "Always sticking your fingers on someone else's pie" and Garrus's "Like you human say, I feeling in my gut".
GOD I LOVE THEM

I guess that goes without saying. LOL
Aye, and the infamous airquote "Ah yes, 'Reapers'..."
I actually can't help but be amused by what Garrus says half the time, ranging from fun places to fight through to "...popping the heat sink".

Garrus try so hard to "impress" Shepard, he have a great heart^^
What will Shepard do without Garrus? At least not so stylish

Well, everyone has their own interpretation of him. For me, it's his resemblance to Batman.

Ah the Turians... One of the coolest, if not the coolest, races in the whole Mass Effect universe. And your Turian fellow here looks, without a doubt, like it should.
By the way, what do ya think of the Quarians? They are also quite an interesting race, in my opinion.
And if you find the time, I strongly recommend you actually play the games. The story and gameplay is very good, if you're into those kind of games.

Quarians are interesting in their own way, particularly in their Battlestar Galactica-like situation. Mind you - while I still get laughs from Kenneth talking about Tali's envirosuit - physiologically, quarians tend to be another example of human aliens like the asari.
By what I've seen so far on both the Mass Effect wiki and YouTube, I can agree to the excellent story Mass Effect features. I'll be snooping around for a copy of both games when I get the chance.
