Description
Believe it or not, this might be the last of the XPS models I'm reuploading with ' blessing...like everything else, this is a bit unique and something you'll see me make use of in the future! It's a 4 x 4 based heavily on the real world Toyota Land Cruiser of 1960, and it comes with both the left hand and right hand drive versions . I know there's a few slight visual differences, but the J40 hardtop had to be this chonky off-roader's inspiration!
A bit of real history: in 1941, the Imperial Japanese Army got ahold of an American Jeep after they occupied the Phillipines...it was sent to Japan, and the authorities were so impressed they wanted to make a similar vehicle. (You need to take into account that a-holes were in charge at the time and did things a lot worse than stealing.) The result was the Model AK...when World War II was over, engineers learned a lot and began to produce models that weren't outright copycats or used the same parts. It all culminated with the model above, the original J40 Land Cruiser, which does legitimately rival its inspiration, the Jeep!
If you're curious to know who the girl is with this classic ride, you SLAYERS OF DEMON CITY 7 fans will recognize her! :333 If you don't, she's Soraya Setsushi, one of many characters created by for SoDC7. Me and , Sumire, , , , , and many others (dearest , you'll ALWAYS be an inspiration yourself!
Soraya is one of the geekiest and serious of that world's heroes, yet one of the kindest. (Think Velma Dinkley if she was a superhero!) I'm sure Land Cruisers of the earliest vintage will be running well even thirty years from now, and I imagine Raya believes in utility and reliability a lot more than style. That's why I'm giving the girl this car to drive around in for future stories and art!
Maybe the Land Cruiser is your style, too? I need to make an important tech note, though, that this model might not work the way you want on older versions of XNALara/XPS! Like some other models, it works best on the latest versions. (Which I haven't upgraded to yet because I've heard they're as buggy as blazes!) But don't let that scare you off. I've tested the model, as you can see in the preview -- all I had to do was go to Load Generic Item. It simply means clicking your mouse a few more times than usual, but it will work for you that way!
If that doesn't faze you, okay. If you do want this vehicle, be sure to favorite...but also give due credit ONLY to the Deviant responsible for it, !
Sigh, I might as well be a broken record now. One more time. To download, just click on the downward arrow under the pic!
