Description
Here are just a portion of the designs I did for Robert Jordan's "Wheel of Time" produced by Dabel Brothers. I did a slew of drafts that never saw the light of day.Funny thing is, I went back and forth and everything I thought was cool, "the powers that be" didn't. And now that I have all these characters designed, I can't even draw the cooler ones since I'm not working on that book anymore. Don't ask.
But this stuff was fun and quick i must say.

This is also to show im not a one trick pony and I still do comic style stuff too. This isn't the most dynamic stuff, but I was asked to tone that energy down a lot of times on my run. I cant wait to just cut loose and go crazy on my next comic project!
Can you guys start a petition saying, "We Demand Chase draw a High Profile MARVEL book!" Ill be ur bestest BEstEsT friend! LMFAO (but nah, seriously, would you?)

Thank you SO MUCH for sharing this! I loved the style of the first 5 New Spring comics and was so disappointed when the rest of that series was delayed and then changed. I know that Robert Jordan loved it as well as he went on and on about the illustration of the White Tower that was made for him.

Like, especially the left two in the top row, and the first one over from the left in the second row. If there was an individual image of any of those I'd fave it immediately. Well hell I'll fave this big thing anyway. I gotta remember the things you did with black vs white in those.

I'm a little surprised they made you tone down the dynamism, I can't imagine why. Always thought your older stuff was appealing cuz of how much energy there was. Hope you cut loose on your Marvel submission.
