ive read every chapter, and i still like sasuke the most. tho i also like rock lee and he works soo hard i figure hed be much more developed. soo many push ups and stuff, hed be super cut. so thats why he looks that way. ill do him justice one day.just messing with my rendering, soo more stiffness here, i dont know wtf rock lee is doing body pose wise hes just on the paper.
they also arent standing side by side ona plane, just on paper.

thanks for bringing that much realism to these characters!! really nice job!! and I just saw this and thought about who would they be on real life, especially where would they come from? I have a feeling that sasuke would be japanese..totally hahah naruto would be half japanese and half american, sakura would be american and rock lee would be chinese.. what do you think?

I really think the picture is amazing, but I think Lee should be built more like Bruce Lee, he seems alittle to buff almost brutish.

This version of Naruto looks cooler than he original Naruto.Shoulda either finished Sakura or not added her in the first place.Still,prettier than the real one.

im not saying "kung fu" is lee's fighting style.
i know kung fu is chinese, but it means fighting and defending with just the body.
which is what all rock lee can do.yes, he has chakra(as you say)-but
he cant use chakra to do techniques like that

I actually like Rock Lee the most in the series cause as you pointed out he works hard. I think the body type you gave him is dead on too. These sketches are incredible.

yeah he should be a little more buff than the rest, since he cant even use anything but hand to hand, he should be damn near unbeatable in close quarters.

He should also be able to use the same technique Sakura learned from Sunade, and have that hyperstrength. It may be a female thing though.

First of all the term kung fu is Chinese. This is a Japanese fiction, so it is some form of empty-hand Karate, Ninjutsu to ba specific. Secondly, Rock uses chakra to open his gates to increase his power, therefore the focusing of his chakra to aid his strength should not be out of his ability.

yeah, I think hair is the hardest conversion.
have you ever seen the movie 'Shinobi'? they tried to style the hair after it, and the result wasnt too dissimilar to what you ahve here ^_^

ive seen bits and pieces of it, its live action right?
the had some crazy styles in that movie. but for hair, i always suggest you look at real hair and choose how to simplify it yourself. it has this 'feel' when you do that, draw it how it reacts to light truly.

Dude, you're frickin' awesome. I just stumbled onto your gallery and you have a lot of kickass stuff. I really like the sketchyness of a lot of work. And I think this is just a cool rendition of Naruto characters.
And I still think Sasuke is one of the best characters... probably between him and Kakashi. Naruto and Sakura have to learn cooler and more moves.
