The rogue Russian general is cornered by the Secret Agent, just in time to stop the nukes...or is it?This was my entry for the Secret Agent Challenge on cgsociety, it was a lot of fun. You can see some progress shots here

a note: For anyone a little insulted that the bad guys are "always the russians." This is a Cold War scenario, and the Cold War = USA and Russia. Whose to say that the Secret Agent himself isn't Russian?

An absolutely stunning piece. The use of Blood is also well done. Many times I see artists go a bit too far with it. But with this there's just enough to set the tone. I also love how you drew the General. His expression perfectly conveys his contempt for the Western world and that his actions are a necessary evil. In my opinion anyway.

Glory to heroy! Russian soldiers were killed with The Agent. BUT! He was detained with them and the general sent nuclear rokets! Glory to heroes!

A typical James Bond situation. Too bad I read the comment. Otherwise I would have kept wondering who was the bad guy and who was the good one. Though, I guess that's all rather relative anyway, even though launching an nuclear air strike is morally questionable, I admit.
Needless to say that this is artistically well done!

Ok...my boyfriend and I have just been staring at this for a few good long minutes. We both agree this is amazing, 100% pure talent, and completely ingenius. But it's a little sad to see my city (Boston) getting nuked! I hope that 45 seconds is enough time to save us
