Hehehe here we go my introduction page to the smudging tutorial!! Long awaited I know (I think it was requested back in august *ahem*) so sorry for that, i'll get onto the next page as soon as I can!horse ©

not meaning to be rude (i hope im not being rude) but i never knew anyone just SMUDGED their art, or is it just preperation for the horses to be put into a photomanipulation sorta thing... (i hope im not being rude again XD)
because i've never really been a fan of photomanipulation, but congrats on the DD!

Yeah it's a preparation for photomanipulation of an image - so the horse will be cut out, adjusted (lighting etc, maybe markings etc changed, tack removed, horn added etc etc) then added to a background that may be several pics combined which have also been adjusted - it's just one small step in the process. You weren't at all rude

hehe depends what you're aiming for, it's very hard to create a realistic image but that's what drives me. I want to be able to create images that people cannot tell whether or not they are real.
