This took F-O-R-E-V-E-R !
Photoshop kept dying on me. So I am going to try and do the breakfast one tomorrow. I think I am done with photoshop for today. I didn't think this would take so much time and be so huge.
Enjoy. If you make something with this please link back here so more people can learn how.

I do not suggest or recommend making polymer clay plugs for your ears. Polymer clay is not "clay" but a form or porous plastic. Meaning, your ears might grow into them! There haven't not been many cases but don't risk your ears!

I like all of your charm tutorials. They look delicious even though I know they're all polymer clay.
You should try to make a root beer float charm.

I made a sushi cane myself once, and had the same thing happen from cutting it soft. I don't suppose you'd know a good amount of time to freeze it for?
π: 0 β©: 1
chat-noir In reply to ingenium-Q [2012-07-31 17:50:58 +0000 UTC]
I generally try to leave the canes in the freezer for an hour. (If I am patient enough) It will harden a little bit over time and be easier to cut further down the line, but the freezer method is a lot faster.

Give it a try! It is really fun, a great way to start making canes, and you can use them for all sorts of things. Nail decorations, jewelry, beads, and tons more.

CindaquilsCreations [2012-04-10 01:32:24 +0000 UTC]
I'm a little confused with canes.. So do you bake the cane and then use the little cut slivers or do you cut the slivers and then bake?
π: 0 β©: 1
chat-noir In reply to CindaquilsCreations [2012-04-10 03:19:03 +0000 UTC]
You can actually do it both ways! Depending on how you plan on using your cane you can bake it for a few minutes to harden it up (like 5-7 minutes) and then cut it and use it for projects. Or, you can use the cane as is, cut it up and then bake them.
