wow, the true identity of Phage is Pride from Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood.

I have to start off by pointing out that Shard's laser blast is circular, but her mask was cut clean down the center. .....? The cracks it already feel like it would have made it break off more jaggedly at least. It's just a minor thing to bring up, but I think it would have been good to have a sound effect where the cannon is charging (maybe "vreeeee"). I'm concerned that Nicole's expression just doesn't convey enough emotion in the last panel. It feels more like an "I am your father" reaction than a "she justΒ killedΒ him!" reaction.
The background did well in those deep red shades, implying without actively showing it that Phage has taken over this area of their digital setting. Nicole's cage was well-designed, particularly with the thorn-like black tendrils crawling all over it. Looks like she had already worked a lot of the bugs out of Shard's system by the time this rolls around, but it wasn't good enough apparently. Looks like Phage hit him right in the gem, but since that's not the source of his existence as a living memory, I'm sure that in itself won't nix him. Heh! I love how ticked off Phage looks!

I leave for FIVE minutes to get a reasonably priced quesadilla and Sierra Mist at a local Mexican restaurant and suddenly EVERYTHING falls apart. Guys, your little sparring match has gone too far! To the penalty box with you all!

You know....Its kinda funny. Whats funny? Well...here...Shard is a memory...a BROKEN memory...which makes him kinda...Glitchy you could say....This comic...it skips parts....jumps to certain things...Kinda like...the comic ITSELF is Glitchy...and...one could argue that this comic is a memory...of something that happened in the comics but everyone forgot....Oh...My...gosh...You know what this means? THE COMIC ITSELF IS SHARD!!!!!!!!!!!

I knew it! That reminded me so much of Pride from FMA Brotherhood. A good choice to add that to Phage really, it makes her come off even more demonic and more than just a mere mutated virus~ ^^
