Description
An unfinished doodle on an uninspired day.. trying to get my creativity flowing after a few months of doing.. well.. nothing. It wasn't meant to be anything in particular, it started with the eye pieces and grew at random.. eventually I ran out of ideas.
Pencil on sketchbook paper, cleaned up in Photoshop CS4

OMG! I'm the 1st to view & comment! now THAT is simply not fair my friend. oh well, you can't win them all.
is it a cyborg or a disfigured robot? either way it's Cool! I like the steam generator (or it's smoke) and all the other devices I can't call on by name. Body needs work though.
(I think people looked at the thumbnail instead, much worse then a look-and-leave)

Ah well, it's only a doodle. I stopped working on it because I ran out ideas for the body.. nothing I did really worked (what you can't see here is the amount of erased lines from all the different things I tried).
I think it was meant to be a cyborg at first.. I was just drawing randomly to see what came up.

You can never run out of ideas, you just got Artist's Block. And as for the Erase marks I didn't see any.
Randomness is the best way to get the creative juices flowing. why, just look at mine in the drawn folder, you'll see what I mean. Right now I'm drawing a new character! its' name is SugarRush (the name tells you his nature, thats how all of mine are), one of the Rush Bros.

Yeah I cleaned up the image in Photoshop, there were quite a few erase marks all over the picture.
I have a bit of trouble with randomness, at least in getting started.. once I'm over that hurdle it's a bit easier.
These days I use a program called Alchemy to help come up with ideas. A few minutes playing around with tools in Alchemy can spawn all sorts of creations
