I don't remember sorry...
But google for pixel fonts! I remember it was something with letters and numbers mixed, it wasn't a word.

You can use any 2d raster image program.
I use photoshop, but you can even use windows paint, for example!

Hey! I decided to do some water following your tutorial and everything went fine. And then when I merged the two layers together I decided to do some mud too. But my browns came out blue still...Is it because I did the grid on my background? Also when I saved it and opened it again all three layers (background layer and layer copy) were merged and called index. I'm using Photoshop cs4 so you might not be able to help...

sorry for barging in, and commenting on a old comment, but I know what your problem is.
Indexed is a color format that restricts some colors. I'm not exactly sure what it does, but it won't let you use opacity and you won't be able to use alot of shades. I learned this when I was editing an indexed file on GIMP.
You probably saved as a .gif, which is sort of a bad idea compared to .png. GIFs cannot save correctly with layers, so it must save with grayscale or indexed. I think indexed will only allow you to use the colors that were put down when you saved.
I think that's it... Sorry that was so long.

I get confused at the animation part... could be because I'm using photoshop CS3...

Cheila In reply to BrokenLine1177 [2009-03-27 20:47:20 +0000 UTC]
The animation part is in Jasc Animation Shop not Photoshop
But you can try any program that makes animated gifs

Ah ok cool thank you! ^^ I know you can do it in photoshop but I can't for the life of me figure it out. X3 Having a mac makes gif animation hard.

I have a couple questions, one, how can you make it bigger if you made it real small, and two, how to you upload it and make it work? o-o;

Wow thanks a lot for the favs!
PixelArt is not resizable. It wouldn't be PixelArt anymore ^^
You upload it the same way you upload any deviation...
I'm think i'm not understanding your questions ._.;
