Description
Here's another recent sculpt I did as part of my sculpture class. Our task was to sculpt a live female model using the techniques we acquired from the male sculpt. I chose to keep this one mainly figurative instead of an anatomical study.

Like the male sculpt, this is a 15" figure done using armature wire and professional modeling clay known as Roma Plastalina. I found the female figure to be more challenging than the male. Getting the volumes and proportions proved to be difficult due to the intricacy of curves. Everything seems to blend and flow together whereas the male seems to have more rigid/segmented and easy to identify volumes.
