...I know I'll find him again someday.This is for for my 7,000 pageview kiriban. The request was for Alphonse from the first movie, as well as Ed with his coat colours inversed. I hope you like it!
The basic idea behind this picture is Alphonse looking for his big brother. It's heavily based off the recurring motif of the brothers travelling along the railways together in the series' openings and endings.
I suck at backgrounds, as always. I really need to figure out a good way to do them...
I did progress shots of this piece, so I think i'm gonna construct a quick "How Cherry draws" tutorial up soon
~prolly around 5-7 hours on painttool SAI

And since in the anime and manga, they always walk on railroad tracks, I thought to myself:
"Those two are gonna get hit by a train sometime.

If you have a look at the openings from the original series, 2, 3 and four all have them on or by the railway tracks, and the first has them on the train. It's a motif of the whole series really.
