His friends didn't want to go because Pish + sap + fire is a bad idea, so he's flying solo this time. Doesn't stop him from trying to talk the ears off a bunch of strangers as he invites himself to their table. They quickly leave and he's left scanning the place for his next victim person to talk to. Oh look an interesting looking lone gro at the bar.
