Description Well then, I sketched this out today, and then tried out the new pens I got on it. I'm pretty happy with them They aren't quite as good as my old pen, but since it's running out of ink they'll do fine ^.^

The idea for this came from , so thanks for the great idea Takai liked the concept a lot, I had to give credit though and explain it wasn't my idea XD

Anyhow, I'm pretty sure Takai's reached a new height record in this picture... *drumroll*

Takai
Age: 22
Height: ...928' (Yep, I loaded the whole thing into Google Sketchup, made an estimate for the building size, and checked it with the measuring tool. It's about as accurate as I could possibly get.)

Hmm, if she was that big wouldn't she feel chilly?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

chibiBiscuit In reply to Heatheran [2009-08-15 06:14:40 +0000 UTC]

Well, while higher elevations mean colder weather, a bigger Takai equals thicker skin, and altogether a larger source of heat, which would be significantly harder to chill than a normal-sized person. ^__^

umm (going to avoid the biological impossibilities)... So if she lifts you up, you being small and puts you on her shoulder you would get chilly?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

chibiBiscuit In reply to Heatheran [2009-08-15 15:44:46 +0000 UTC]

Biological impossibilities? If you do know of something, please bring it up! (Although I can't guarantee I've got an answer for it. I do realize there's a reason this is referred to as a 'fantasy'. ) We've tried really hard to come up with as many answers to questions like this as we can, so if you can help address an issue, I'd really appreciate it.

And yes, at sizes like these, it can get pretty cold on her shoulder. Luckily she's good at finding alternative places to keep me.

Heatheran In reply to chibiBiscuit [2009-08-15 17:10:50 +0000 UTC]

(You're so going to regret asking me for the biological problems because I take A-level Biology . *cracks fingers* Okay here I come). Well while thick skin would keep her warm it would also cause the core temperature of her body to greatly increase as a result causing spontaneous combustion of the vital organs in the core of her body. As a result the body would malfunction and result it death. Also at that height the lungs cannot collect enough oxygen (even if the air is consistent throughout the atmosphere) to supply every cell in her body. And don't suggest that her cells are bigger because that would make the problem far worse as that lowers the surface area to volume ratio of the cell so the cell does not have enough surface area to absorb enough nutrition to keep all of the cell living and if one organelle fails in the cell the whole cell will simply die and that would happen relatively quickly to all the cells. Well thats just for starters of course...

*thinking* :sigh: If I'm thinking of the same place as you're hinting I envy you. -.-

***FINISH HIM***
Chibi: Oh dear God, no...
****FATALITY****

Well, I can honestly say that I don't have an answer for that. I have quite a few of the 'What if ______' questions, but how can you argue with biological fact?

Heatheran In reply to chibiBiscuit [2009-08-16 12:52:46 +0000 UTC]

Hey all science is just a theory. When our current theory is thought to be untrue we ssimply dispose of it a replace it with another. Nothing in science is necersarily a fact. To tell you the truth the more I know in biology the more depressed I get... This is why I study religious studies also, so I can have hope. Too bad I'm critical of religion as much as science... me = agnostic.

I'm of the same cut though. There could be a higher power out there... I'd like to believe that. But I'm not sure they care so much what goes on down here. I more believe it to be like an experiment. Add life to a rock and watch the reaction.

Heatheran In reply to chibiBiscuit [2009-08-19 10:27:46 +0000 UTC]

I'm not sure. I accept there could be a higher being, however I don't place a particular character on it. It could be all loving, it could be all hating, it could be neutral, it could be all powerful or just passive, I don't know. At the same time I also accept there could not be a higher being due to the fact no one has proved one exists yet and that there could possibly be no need for one, yet there still could be.

As I say to people, I'm neutral on most things. If it can be imagined it could be possible (or impossible). I think the problem with me is I'm stuck between possible truths.

"Size 900"? Is that Standard or Metric? LOL*(* Sorry about that , a bit of a running joke at work this week) For the last five days I had to work up in that tower I talked about earlier. Check this out; There I was along with my team 25 stories up over the city of Yokohama to put in a very complex and expensive piece of equipment. Like 500, 000 in Yen. It was very cold thanks to the wind and it took about 30 mintues to get up there. When your about install the last of the unit's bolts you find to your dismay that the main bolts were in U.S. Standard and not the Metric size that you were told about and not supplied with.
To some this may say; "What's the big deal?"
When the threading of the hole that the bolt is going into is off by a tiny bitty bit...It makes a HUGE deal. Especially if you don't want to screw*(no pun intended there.) the threads.

I definitely know that metric to standard conversions are an important thing ^.^ I think I remember hearing about a billion dollar space probe that cratered on impact because they forgot to convert feet to meters when calculating the distance towards the planet's surface.

Oh yeah! That Mars Probe that was mislead and kissed the red soil. That got the "BONEHEAD AWARD" for the year. Of course there are those who say the aliens did it because the probe would have shown there base. (Aw, man.)

On a diffrent note, I think it would be funny if aliens who were bent on taking us over land the Mothership and your girlfriend just happen to be near by.

Eight foot tall mean looking aleins come out walk up to you and say;
"Earthscum of the lowest scum in the known and unknown galaxys! We are here to insalve your puny race of hairless apes! What do you think of that chump?"

You just innocently point up to your girlfriend who waves down to them (Hopefully she's a good height...200' is a good size.)
"HI!" she says with a smile. "WHAT'S UP?"
The alien leader turns to head Warror after looking up;
"Great balls of Nova farts! I thought you said they were shorter than us?"
The warror replies cautionly.
"I guess I made a small miscalculation."

I think 'Great Balls of Nova Farts' just made my vocabulary quotes of the year!

*adds 'Takai thwarts aliens' to his to-draw list* Although, I think I'd have trouble getting her to stop at 200. If she gets the chance to grow, she takes it. And nothing warrants unrestricted growth like an alien invasion!

(And you know, you give me so many good ideas! You should hold onto a few, really! hehe ^_^)

I've just given you a taste of the ideas I've written down over the years. You should see my note pads of "Ideas or plots for stories." I'm on book five.

P.S. I made up that quote of "Great Balls Of Nova Farts" right after seeing one of my freinds at work set his chest hair on fire and burning a good chunk of it away.
Note to all the guys out there; Never, never, NEVER smoke a cigarette while using a can of deodorant body spray such as AXE! There is a good reason that it says on the can; "do not use when smoking...."

You've should have seen the flame coming from that can! Looked like NOS!

"SMOKING!!" The Mask.

You've have seen what the locker room was like a few seconds after that happen. (Mind you there were about fifty guys in there because it was the Frist and Second shifts happening.)
The expression on my fellow engineer workers American/Japanese/Ausse and Canadians was priceless!
It was dead silence from disbelief after the "flames" until the oldest Japanese worker (Who is always quite I quickly add.) spoke up and broke the silence by saying;
"Nani? Baka!" (What? Idiot!)
We all lost it after that.

You know what the ironic thing is? That can of AXE? Guess what deodorant fragrance that was?: "Phoenix" as if the myth goes; "A bird of fire born from it's ash." You get three guesses what the guy's new nickname is now?

PEACE! Oh, and Happy New Year Everyone!

Well, after working up in a 25 story radio tower today (Man, that wind was cold!) I went to my computer a punched in some numbers and writing some stuff down....Let's see Mass x 12....conversion of the curvature horizon of the Earth by 13 miles minus the gravity pull of the moon and human water weight. "Mmmmm....I guess this would work, I though have to wonder what Einsterein and Carl Sagan would says about this "You're a bonehead." most likely. Anyway....
At the normal size of 5' 6" that she may have been now at 928'

Chibi if you were over 6' tall like me you would look about 0.42 inches to her.
However, (And what you say next here could put your life in pearl if she takes this the wrong weigh...I mean way here):
She would weigh about: 300,217 tons and 824 pounds!
King Kong cries out: "DAMMNNN!"
That's a whole lot of woman there!
Looks like she took my advice about Niagara Falls here and the amount of water! I think it's best to keep her away from the Pacific Ocean that's a BIG body of water unless salt water doesn't work on her growth power. Or the next thing we know is..
"Man, those are some strange new planets in the sky today!"
Then one of the two green "planet's" wink at me.
"Oh crap! Those aren't planets!"

*thinks it all out in his head*
If being 6 feet tall translates to .42 inches, being almost 4 feet tall would translate roughly to .28 inches... At least she can still see me, I was afraid that I was just an indistinct speck at that size. (Even if it is like her looking for an earring she dropped.)

*stares blankly after hearing just how 'big' his lovely angel is.*
Wow... That's just... *speechless* You shouldn't tell a girl who makes you look like you're no taller than a cheerio that she weighs enough to alter the turn of the earth.

What's really scary though... We hadn't actually made it to the falls yet. She managed this just with what water she could find around the city and outlying countryside. o_o

I don't even know what would happen if she reached the ocean...

"She managed this just with what water she could find around the city and outlying countryside."

That does explain the strange Comment I got from a follow engineer on the American Society Of Civil Engineers (ASCE) blog back in the States a few weeks ago who is a specialist in underground hydraulics;
"It weird Jaf, I mean we are getting flooded with orders from City Public Work Centers for miles at replacing damaged or missing watertowers or dykes. And it seems that in very report the scale of damage seems to be worst than the last one!"
My reply; "Any thing strange around the areas where the "damage" took place?"
My freind replied quickly;
"If I didn't know better, I sware there is a few "marks" of pressed down earth around the area. Kinda like "footprints"...dare I say sandals? And they appear to be getting bigger at each new case! Have any ideas?"

"'Sandals'" "'Bigger footprints'"? I relpied with a raised eyebrow. "I have a thought."

That does sound like Takai though... I don't know of any other women with a size 900 sandal.

I honestly don't know x__x. She says she could see me- but I get the feeling she was just talking to the city with the assumption I was in there somewhere. I don't even know where she found that much water, either. It's kind of mind-blowing to think she still intends to break this record at some point.
