I realized a few uploads ago that I haven't been as consistent with our 'base' sizes as I'd like to be, and of course, the number one question everyone was asking about Kawaii after her introduction was "How tall is she?"So, I decided to do a quick little size comparison to answer these questions and better illustrate the difference.
Character Heights, in order from shortest to tallest:
Chibi: 3' 11"
Kawaii: 5' 3"
Takai: 9' 6"
Also, on the left is Kawaii's cat, Shaia (who stands up like that so often it's as if she just stepped out of a Miyazaki film), and on the right is Takai and I's puppy, Vash.

Well, her height changes a lot, but this is sort of her default 'normal' height. ^__^

Nice! I really like how you made something that should be static look so dynamic! I especially like Chibi's expression. It's practically like, "I may be small, but I'm the leader of this band!" Also: 1) Chibi has the "antenna hair," just like Edward Elric, which is awesome and 2) Takai's hair is six feet long!? O.O

Hehe, exactly! I'm the man of the house! Of course I like to pretend I'm the leader occasionally. Usually it's Takai who calls the shots though. ^__^
1) I always have that cowlick. It never seems to go away for me. >_<
2) Well, braided it's about six feet long. When it's loose, it actually hangs between six-and-a-half and seven feet long. Needless to say, it's been a while since she's gotten a haircut.

Actually, it didn't bother her too much. She had to get used to it, of course. She grew at a pretty rapid pace, so there was a time where she seemed to knock her head against every doorframe she went through, but once she was able to remember to duck, she didn't mind it.

Yep! I think no matter what size you are, you work yourself into a routine, and you get used to having to duck through doors (or in my case, stand on tip-toes to reach the doorknob.

Hehe, yes. We named our dog after Vash- mostly because we love Trigun, but also because our puppy likes to 'stampede' all over the apartment. ^__^

Nope, Kawaii's height is fixed, she's a fairly normal twenty-one year old girl. Takai and I are the only two whose heights seem to fluctuate.
