Description
Okay, so maybe Caboose doesn't have it COMPLETELY right, but this is how Shadow Tag COULD be done.To those that DON'T know what I'm talking about, it's Wynaut's and Wobbuffet's skills in the GBA Pokemon games that prevents your opponent from withdrawing their Pokemon once Wynaut or Wobbuffet are out (partially why they're banned in tournaments, I think... pit two Wynauts or two Wobbuffets against each other and you're stuck with a stalemate).
Yes, the coloring sucks... I'm just hear for cheap giggles, folks.

Wobbuffet is in the uber tier with a moveset of Encore, Destiny Bond, Counter and Mirror Coat. Once it's sent the other Pokemon is guaranteed to faint. Pretty funny how you made fun of its ability.

XD okay, the scenario with the stalemate made me laugh very hard. I can see it now...
Me: Come back, Ace (my Staravia )!

Oh. Sorry, I was thinking about the Caboose character from Red vs Blue.
Ah. To me, the last panel looked like Wobbuffett was doing an uppercut or something.
Glad to help (although I kinda confused you... ). But like I said, it's a witty cartoon, and I fave'd it. ^^

What does this have to do with RvB's Caboose? o.O Guess I haven't seen that episode.
Very funny idea. I think it might also be funny if the trainer tried returning the Pokemon again (in which Wobbuffet slaps him again). But that's just me. ^^
Nice shading, but the text looks unnecessarily crooked. I think that's what might be keeping it from looking professional.
+faved.

._.
It... has nothing to do with Red vs Blue? I just call MY Wobbuffet Caboose, because he's the last resort to victory. You know... like the caboose is the end of the train? Ha ha? Get it?
And... he did try to call him back. That's why he was slapped. Again.
And while I do enjoy a critique, I don't think I was aiming for professionalism just yet. Thanks for the input though; I would normally have gone with using the computer for that, seeing as my handwriting is less then desirable.

A little late, but...
For me, I always imagined Wobbu's tail playing a part. It LOOKS like a shadow, yes? For me, when the trainer attempted to call the pokemon back, Wobbu's tail would "phase" into the ground, and a larger version would pop up to block the poke-beam .
For all the fleeing Pokemon, the tail would either form a wall, or (in the case of flying pokemon) form a hand that would DRAG THEM BACK INTO BATTLE D<

Haha that's pretty cool !
By the way, did you know that, in D/P, if two Pokemon with the ability Shadow Tag encounter, both of them can be called back ?

Oh yes, it takes a LOT of patience for these guys... a lot... and studying, too, to know which moves are what.
But they're worth it to see some whiny brat with a Mewtwo or other legendary run away crying when you pwn their 'best' Pokemon ever.

soooo, what makes a Wobbuffet so powerful anyway? (i.e. moves, specials, stats, etc)

For starters, Wobbuffets have been BANNED from official tournaments because they have the chance to be a 1-hit killer if used properly.
Player 1 has a Mewtwo.
Player 2 has a Wobbuffet.
Mewtwo does Psychic, but fails to kill Wobbuffet with one hit (they have pretty good defense).
Wobbuffet does Mirror Coat, which returns the attack back, but with 2x the damage. If Psychic even does only half damage to Wobbuffet, it will kill Mewtwo instantly.
This little 'cheat' makes a lot of people whine and complain that their uber was defeated by a mere Wobbuffet.
Soon enough, little kiddies start getting the idea to train more Wobbuffets, but eventually do themselves in when faced against ANOTHER Wobbuffet. The ability Shadow Tag prevents both Wobbuffets from being called back, and since neither of them have an offensive attack, it leads to a stalemate.
This is why Wobbuffets are banned from tournaments...

Nowadys, it's not banned, but it's still very powerful. You just have to be careful of Dusknoir, Hydreigon, Volcarona, Aegislash, Gourgeist, Trevenant, Mega Bannette and Mega Heracross.

Wobbuffet is a Psychic type. Try something like Gengar using Shadow Ball.

I always assumed Shadow Tag was like Shikamaru's(from the popular anime Naruto) Shadow Possesion Jutsu. That's probably what Wobbufet's tail is used for. The tail is probably made from some sort of natural "dark matter".
