Description
Like my bird wing tutorial, this isn't a step by step guide. It simply points out facts that need to be known in order to do something properly. I've assumed people have their own colouring/layering style and thus I've just compiled some information in order to improve those styles without interfering with them.Related content

Wow, this tutorial is so old. >_> Though, I do still use a lot of the tips and tricks in it. I should make an updated version with better art.

Very helpful tricks... Making colors a bit closer to grey, ambient light, and using shadows opposite the color wheel of your highlights were all very helpful. Thank you~ : D
