Seriously.
Yeah, so what if they enjoy drawing multiple pictures of one of their characters?
So what if they happen to have an art style that you feel is better than yours?
How does that justify you making a public announcement about how much you're envious of this deviant and bashing the kind of art they do? And rallying up hatred against them?
And how can you possibly be proud of calling yourself "a hater of [insert name]"?
I just don't get it.
We all have envy in our hearts. It's how we handle it that's important. Something I've been saying more and more often as of late.
Oh, yeah. And being at each other's throats for a fictional character of all things. Lordy, people. If you're that envious of someone drawing their OC with a character you happen to love, you should just stay away from their artwork. Or do what I do: admire them and continue working in developing your OC.

so I read some if the comments and I just wanna say, rallying up hatred of any sort is bad, whether theyre an art theif, they were horrible to you or theyre a bully. Theyre the main ones people bring up but there are many different ways of dealing with those situations, you can block and report for starters.
Most people who steal art are usually young, also just because they steal art doesnt mean theyre a horrible person, you can deal with that by doing things like reporting or reaching out to the person offering with help so can make their own art or something.
Rallying up hate for someone who bullies on deviantart is dumb, I dont mean to sound old but really, most people who bully on deviantart are either; jealous, trolls, really young or just being arse holes for the sake of it. Or you mightve done something to annoy then so they lashed out at you, in that case you should privately deal with it. Instead of rallying hate just block and report the stuff they said, or you could like,,, laugh at yourself with them to confuse them.

If I or one of my friends were bullied, I'd be prepared to send people after them to defend, or to report their account or let them know that what they're doing really is horrible, but I wouldn't send hatred.

I don't like art thieves either, but it's immature to rally on the basis of hatred against them lmao. Only thing that works with that is warning others and reporting the thief. If you harass them you're no better and dA admins can punish you for it too :'D

The only time I would support rallying hate against a certain Deviant would be if that Deviant was doing something hate worthy(Example: Stealing art/characters from other people, just right out being an asshole, ect.)
Although it would be absolutely ridiculous to hate someone for the reasons that you stated.

I have an artist who I'd check on every now and then to read their latest stuff only to notice a hate theme starting to rise against them, later I go back after like a year or so and it's like she disappeared. All I can find via google search is what looks like 'adoring fan pages' which turn out to be more hate. I don't know the full story or what happened but it sickens me.
In other words, I really like your stamp even if it does make me reflective.

This has happened to me multiple times. What was really immature about it is that the person made multiple fake accounts of me and just changed their username to look like mine and took my artwork and said it was heirs and basically tried to copy me entirely.

This happen too me once. This one deviant had made a useless call out journal about how much of a big "troll" I am. She made a lot of people started hating me for false reasons. That's why I moved accounts, just to get away from her. I feel like moving accounts again so I can start over and only let my closets friends know where I've moved too.

It would be for the good of dA if he managed to someohow get banned. He's really a terrible person and he has an entire army of other terrible people where if he says he doesn't like a person on dA they will go make that person's life hell.
