Description
Stamp by *ChikitaWolfRequest for a stamp with a rant
When someone tells you "no" to a request, an art trade, a commission, or whatever, it means no.
One of the most aggrivating things in being an artist, or really anyone, is running across someone who just can't accept "no" as an answer.
People don't like being constantly asked things they've already said no to. It's obnoxious to pester someone like that who's given you a clear answer.
And it's even more obnoxious to tell others that a person said "yes" to you when they really said "no". That's a guilt-trip, lying move and causes more problems than it's worth.
So next time someone tells you "no", just move on. Because when you continuously ask or pester them about things, you're not getting any farther in convincing them. You're just pissing them off c:
Feel free to use~!

I have ONE discipline...β¦β¦..
Anyone who doesn't take 'No' for an answer, no matter how many times I tell them to, is out. End of story. Β

My friend, your first mistake was saying "no" to your mother LOL. With parenting like that, you can only get away with saying "no" once you go to college, and even then you probably won't. Moms :'D

There was someone on Kik who tried to date me, I said no and he wouldn't stop. Eventually he snapped and said women are only objects for men to use. Well that hurt a lot so I blocked the bitch.
He made another kik account and tried to date me AGAIN. So I blocked him.
He made another account, I blocked him.
He made a 4th account and I changed my kik name. And blocked him. Haven't heard from him since

That can be pretty obnoxious...though I've had this experience as an older sister rather then an artist.
However, unless someone says that they do take requests, then I won't ask. Besides, I know most artists can find it to be pretty annoying.

This is one of my pet peeves. This is a great way to make an enemy out of me. Keep asking me to do something after I say no, and watch my already short fuse grow even shorter.

Once a guy bothered me to draw from a show I watch so much, I sort of gave in and drew a half assed picture of that character. That guy actually admitted that he was only bothering me for fun...But he thanked me in the end.Β

Agreed. Glad someone made a stamp like this. A "friend" I used to have kept begging me for a drawing. He started a lot of drama over it. He brought up that I drew my best friend a month earlier. "WHY WONT YOU DRAW ME? YOU DREW (friend name)! I FEEL LIKE YOU CARE MORE ABOUT HER THEN ME!" and so and so.

I hate it when someone asks me something in real life, I say, "No." person urges me on, I say, "No!", person pesters me, I say, "NO! And I mean it!", someone pesters me more, I say, "NO means NO! Now drop it." Yep, I'm such a b*tch that way.

Some people copy off of work anyway. Like that one time in seventh grade (it was almost the end of the year), that one boy wasn't listening to the teacher when she was talking about writing down the definition to the vocabulary words, I was working on the vocabulary, that boy looked over my paper and I covered it, and he looked at me with a slight guilty expression and lied, saying, "I'm not trying to copy you." I looked at him with a straight face thinking sarcastically, "Yeah, and I'm an idiot." The boy tried to look at my paper to copy, and I covered my paper.
