I had two comments that were accusing me of being close-minded for only believing that girls cried.

Ah, and read the artist's description. That can save you from public humiliation. No, really, I've had silly comments before because people didn't read my artist's description. And don't go on about it "being too long!1!". If you're going to make a comment accusing the artist of something, you ought to read the artist's description before doing so. Your accusation/assumption may be false, and if so, you'll look pretty silly.
We all make mistakes-- sometimes we make silly ones. I'm guilty as well. But let's learn from them and try not to let them happen again, yeah?

To be honest I didn't see much of her exclaiming that her characters were real. She was trying to be sympathetic to them true but failing miserably as you said, she contradicted herself as seen by her descriptions of the pieces.
Sometimes I feel I take things too far with what happens to my characters, but that's mostly to do with me wanting to write half-decent literature and my concern with what others would think.
I think it was more the paedophile pokemon idea that put me off. I'm somewhat concerned that it has a fanbase. :S

They were drawing Raven x Beast Boy porn hinting to porn (and Nana in something skimpy) about Popo and Nana the ice climbers. and made a rape joke, made pokemon (as in the creatures porn) then flipped when some of her fans shipped a zorua with a OC of hers with a Lucario OC of hers screaming her pokemon aren't pedos and pedos are bad etc and insulting her fans. I pointed out that that's perfectly reasonable in the world of Pokemon, and that they are in fact dogs and it's kind of wrong to insult your fans like this over....that.
Especially when she draws MUCH WORSE bestiality and pedo porn herself. (Which to me is much more wrong then the mindset of just thinking two dogs are cute together and they're actually compatible in the games.)
Then she threw a fit saying her poor characters have been victimized I pointed out A. they aren't real B. while yes it's wrong she's not so high and mighty she gets away with it and can bitch. Both are wrong.
She denied ever saying the rape comment (seen there) or drawing underage porn (again seen there).
Plus her "some of all those disgusting things are ok because they were GOOD" disgusted me. That's just....ugh.
I was merely pointing out to her that dog x dog isn't really wrong of pedophilia (as long as you're not drawing porn of it) and just shipping it as a cute thing is not something to flip out on your fans for. Seeing as they are totally compatible and....dogs.
Especially since most meant as a cute couple not a "fucking" couple.
Especially if you yourself don't have the footing to preach and draw them in sexual situations but that's apparently ok if it's OTHER people's characters. (Hypocricy!)

As proof for if she did change it. Just in case for proof. I didn't send it to her, I'd already blocked her (she got on her please account to speak to me) I didn't want to go down to her level. I didn't block her immediately after posting, I considered it later and decided it wasn't worth the effort. I rarely block but someone who thinks her characters are real? Seems a bit too weird to constantly permit it.

Also she used the "still alive" reference wrong (I like how she used it to sound like she was amazing though or it was clever)since GLaDos was actually angry. She was being sarcastic. The girl meant it as in "oh, I'm not angry" which didn't make her look clever. Just unoriginal and oblivious.
I found that a bit funny.

Ugh, I was discussing something with another deviant, and whenever I tried to put up my points, they accused me of saying something far more extreme and arrogant. It would go something like:
Me: "I like oranges."
Deviant: "That's just like saying 'I believe that anyone who doesn't like oranges is an idiot, because I like oranges and I'm going to force you to like oranges too'". (
They did it for every reply I gave them. It was SO annoying. If your argument is based on twisting my words into something far from my original meaning, you must have a pretty crappy argument yourself!

Preach. It's pretty annoying when people ask you questions that were addressed in the artist's comments. If I have a question about the art work, the FIRST thing I do is read what the artist has to say about it, because nine times out of ten, they've already answered my question.
