Autumn figures our beloved Sir Didymus because foxes are russet in colour, and because foxes love the fruits of fall. Didymus may be half squirrel, half fox, and half goblin (and no one knows what the rest is), but whatever he is, I picture him as someone who spends autumn rooting out the food and having little feasts.Autumn entry for the-labyrinth-club's Seasons contest.

I like the balance, the colors of his fur and the fruits.
Foxes really show off the season's palette and survive off the bounty it brings.
Sir Didymus is in the autumn (certainly not winter) of his life.

Sir Didymus looks great and very realistic and the fruits look tasty. By the way, I've never known, that foxes eat fruit, I thought they were predators.

Foxes eat pretty much anything they can catch, and fruit doesn't run very fast.
