Description
Hello:These are renders of The Tristar Class Command Cruiser as seen in "Robotech: the Masters" (season2).
The Tristar is capable of deep-space recon missions, to lead groups of the smaller Battle and Banshee class ships on independent operations and as main battle line units. For these tasks, the Tristars carry a numerous mecha, multiple beam turrets and powerful anti-ship missile armament.
The namesake of the class was general Rolf Emerson's flagship, who fought valiantly until the end.

Estos son renderizados del Crucero de Comando clase Tristar como se vio en "Robotech: Los Maestros de la Robotechnia" (temporada 2).
La Tristar es capaz de misiones de reconocimiento en espacio profundo, de liderar grupos de las naves más pequeñas de clase Banshee y Batalla en misiones independientes y como principales combatientes. Para estas tareas, las Tristars tienen muchos robots mecha, múltiples torreones de rayos y poderosos armamentos de misiles anti-naves.
La nave homónima de la clase fue la nave insignia del general Rolf Emerson, quién lichó valientemente hasta el final.

I really like the design of this one, much like the last one you posted ^^ I wonder, what are the differences between this one and the last one? (Such as size, speed, arms, etc.) Because besides the engine layout they seem very similar

As for what you ask, I thought that posting ship stats would have cluttered the description area 
- Banshee class destroyer (the first one) -> 195.1 meters lenght
Armed with 6 basic turrets and missiles.
- Battle class cruiser (the last one) -> 286.5 meters lenght
Armed with 10 basic turrets, 1 double turret, 1 quadruple turret and missiles.
- Tristar class command cruiser (this one) -> 466.6 meters lenght
Armed with 10 basic turrets, 6 double turrets, 2 quadruple turrets and missiles.
As you can see, this one is quite large compared to the other ones and it is very well armed for it's size

Oh wow so this one is way bigger and better than the previous ship XD I Didn't really notice the size difference until I looked at them side by side hehe. Thanks for all the info! (I'm kinda a sci-fi nerd so I love all the specs and stuff haha)

The next ship is even much larger, but not as well armed as this one since it is more like a deep-space ship and carrier

I had to look in many pages so I could place the turrets and I was able to get pics from the tv-series (only one sequence got a view of the tower). But you are right, Southern Cross ships are always so dark and difficult to get
