Description
This is kind of a teaser scene from the next chapter of my Pirates story 'An Adventure on Blood Island': [link]The Pirate Captain is trying to convince the patrons of The Barnacle's Face that Darwin is actually a pirate.

"Ah, what you need is a little confidence, Β Charles." assured Meriwether, Β briskly patting him on the back. Β "And I'm not too sure how to boost your confidence other than by doing this," she stood up on her tip toes, and pulled him down into a quick kiss.Β

Meriwether: *Turns redder than she already is, shrinks down*

Bellamy: Just you wait, I'll get you when you least expect it. *He slinks away*
Meriwether: *blushes* You just, I mean, y-you didn't have to, y'know. *She gives a small smile* That was real brave of ya, nerd. That's another thing that'll get ya a girlfriend. Apart from confidence, we ladies love a man who can protect us like that.
