The Greatest Showman is a fantastic movie about making dreams come true but not letting them take over what s really important and not judging people by the way they look. I recommend it to anyone who likes musicals or just good stories with heart and fun.

Oh, really?Β I really liked it.Β I do realize it's not historically accurate.Β But I absolutely love the music.Β I thought it was a great artistic choice.Β As much as I love opera, I doubt anybody would have went to see it if that's the kind of music they used.Β Or oldfashiondy organ circus music.Β Of course, I just love musicals, and i have actually done a lot of reading about these people.Β People like to villianize Barnum now for putting people on display for their appearance.Β But one has to remember what life would have been like for them otherwise.Β They couldn't get jobs easily, people would laugh at them on the streets.Β Barnum has a point with his line in the movie "They are laughing already, you might as well get paid."Β Tom Thumb actually went on to have his own celebrity career after he left the circus.Β Later in life he actually bailed Barnum out of a bad business decision and they toured together again with Tom essentially being the boss.

This lady looks like a really cool character. I know I heard of the Bearded Lady and finally looked up on Wikipedia. I also heard of others like the "Dog Faced" boy (ok, you know what episode of Star Trek I first heard of that, lol
I've actually had the idea in the back of my head to create a female human character in my universe with some form of hypertrichosis. I'll have to play with the idea.

It really is fantastic. "Dog Boy" is in it as well as are the Siamese twins. Although they don't really have speaking parts. The Bearded Lady, though is one of the main secondary characters. I like her a lot.

I honestly can't recommend it enough! Beautifully made in every way. The music is great, the story is compelling and the characters are interesting. It's one I could just put on repeat and watch all day.

I just watched an inspiring post in facebook earlier, of a girl having a beard coz of hormonal abnormality? I think something about her ovary i forgot the term. And her beard keep growing even she shaves it which make her bullied. And those wasn't a good childhood memory. But she eventually let her beard grow. And embrace having it.Β
