Description
Ok, so it's nearly 2 in the morning and I can't sleep, so I made a crappy little tutorial on how to put heeled shoes on models.credits go to , , and montecore.
If anyone wants, I can also make a tutorial on how to put fishnet stockings on models.
The third to the last panel got covered up, it's supposed to say, "You can test the feet out in the Transform window by clicking "T" at the top."

Did you delete the IK bones by any chance? That might be why. Or they may need to be reweighted.

I didn't delete anything, and I weighed them a couple times, but they don't move

I guess it depends on the model you're using? I don't really know. Once you weigh it to one bone, it should work.

I was using a model that I'm not really gonna work on any more... But I'll try it with a different model.

I don't get it. It won't let me click anything whenΒ have the circle thng on like when I try to click joins and bones and stuff like that.
I guess there will still be no heels for another model.

Not sure I understand what you're saying. Are the windows in the tutorial open?

Did you select the layer that the feet or shoes is on before highlighting the parts you need to edit?

It helped me alot but the heels are always moving away from her feet or just mushing it self all up on my models leg.

chocosunday In reply to AngelfearUchiha [2014-03-02 03:21:09 +0000 UTC]
You might have to rig the shoe to her foot.

I used this again with my most recent model. There are literally no other guides on this, and this is a reliable one. I just can't seem to weight the bones right.... I think the last thing I tried was something like weighting it to to center at 50, and weighting each individual shoe to the top bone on their side by 33. Still not quite right, but improving.

Well then you have to fit the foot to the shoe.

Using the control panel. Or the arrows

I know that but do I move the feet into an angle? and do I delete the toes?
π: 0 β©: 1
chocosunday In reply to Kiwisaursaysrawr [2012-07-26 18:41:19 +0000 UTC]
You can use the control panel for that. The middle column moves it into angles and junk. I don't delete the toes unless it's completely necessary.

How do you select all the bones, joints, and physics to move above the coordinate axis?

Ok, thanks I did it. In MMD, my model seems to have more than one bone in the center. The shoes move with the bones in the center for the most part, and they move with the feet. But when I select the feet and move Y up or down far enough, the shoes keep going. Should that happen?

Basically, I don't think they rotate with the foot, they just stay flat, right side up.
