In YM's case, it was someone in the JMMDC who altered the base data of their models. (vandalism in other words)

It's pretty rare for that to happen in the JMMDC, the vast majority of users are extremely respectful of what happens with the models.
I've seen so much abuse in the English/Spanish/IndianMMDC it makes me sick. Those are the people I want to just give up on MMD

Well yeah, it is rare. And the reason why it's rare is because most other members are also modelers and programmers. But yeah, I agree.

As a model, user of meta, I know how much work it takes to make a model, it's hard work. That's why I hate illegal edits. When I'm more confident in the Community, and if it ever improves, I 'll release some of my 100% made models. For now, it's going to have to wait, maybe forever. But until I find a way to lock it up from editing, I know one way but anyone can do it. I wanna be able to encrypt them >.>

Hm....I was just thinking about this...but what if you made the model so hi-poly that it crashes if used in an edit, or if parts are used in an edit. The model would only be able to be opened up in MMD in it's original state.
