So made a step-by-step for binapei. I wanted to link to a tutorial on recoloring, but I didn't find a quick short easy explanation so I thought I'd do one myself.
This is similar to the lock opacity effect on other programs (eg. sai and ps) but you only change one color at a time to another. (: Very helpful when pixelling!
Let me know if some part of this is unclear, I wanted to make a very simple and easy to understand tutorial.
If this is something everyone already knows how to do or if you're thinking wth who uses ms paint I'm sorry for shoving a useless tutorial at y'all

All versions of Windows should automatically equip you with an MS Paint program (which, btw, may actually just be called 'Paint' in your program list). Anyway, if you absolutely can't find it, just download it for free (be sure to get the appropriate version for your PC though).

If you have the new version of windows, it should just say "Paint"

do you have windows? you should just be able to search it up on your computer since it's a default program

:I Go to your search bar in windows and type in ms paint. You already have it.

Look- I can walk you through this without the eye cutting / eye rolling :I So just chill the hell out with all of that.
If you have Windows 8- you can mouse over to the right hand of the screen until a panel comes up. You'll see a magnifying glass on top. Click on that- type in MS Paint. It should pop up. Just click on it.
If you have Windows 7 click on the start menu- go to all programs, acessories and paint.
Anything earlier that Windows 7 should take you there as well.

Everyone that has ever had an artistic inclination that has ever touched a computer has used the basic MS Paint program which is why you'll catch a lot of flack by simply asking about it.
To state that in fact your computer doesn't have it actually infuriates me :I Yes. Actually. Your computer does have it- you just didn't use google to find out anything about it let alone anything about programs to use for your art.
Go to these places- find something you enjoy working with and have a good night.

ok geez e_e I'm not an idiot, I don't need to be told about how art makes me feel already, I'm a beginner so I thought relying on a bit of other artists advice same resources as them, get me somewhere..doesn't mean I want to be like them ofc I want to be all my own, so sorry if such simple question infuriates you, I want to vary my medians
