Description I'D LIKE HIS AUTOGRAAAAAAAPPPPHHH!!!! IT IS A NICE PICTUUURREE!!!! HE...IS....NNNIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIICCCCEEE!!!!

It's honestly really sad that Bob Camp was always getting shat on by die-hard Spumco fans for so long. His episode during the John K-era, Mad Dog Hoek, has one of my favorite moments in all of REN & STIMPY so far, in which Stimpy goes absolutely nuts spouting out random nonsense. And that's how the episode ends! I really love how all these episodes, even the Games Animation ones, don't follow any TV cartoon clichés of any sort. They end when they need to, even if they don't make any sense whatsoever.

At the time I'm writing this description, I'm almost wrapping up marathoning REN & STIMPY, and I must say that the Games episodes aren't as bad as what everyone made them out to be. Some of the designs do feel a bit scaled back and aren't as loose as the Spumco run, there's still plenty of great episodes and the weirdness is still front and center. Bob Camp and his team have done a good job with keeping the show alive as much as they could.

From the sounds of things, John K. did recommend Camp as a possible show-runner once Nickelodeon took over things, but started to say that Camp was a back-stabber and a traitor for "ruining" the show. And because everyone was blindly following John at the time, they all took it as truth. After all the shit that's been happening with John K. lately, let's just all agree that Bob Camp was the true creator of REN AND STIMPY all along.

Yeah, I think Bob Camp was the true brains behind the operation. Most of my favorite episodes have his name plastered all over them. Really, John K. is more responsible for the initial idea and a few good episodes as far as I can tell. Really, the dude been riding on the success of other people's hard work for decades until his past finally caught up with him. Hopefully that means the real talent will finally get the recognition they deserve.

Yeah, ol' Bobbo is awesome! Out West is literally my favorite episode of the entire show. The western feel, the stellar jokes and pacing, the Carbunkle animation and the LORD LUVS A HANGIN' were all too nice to me! In my opinion, Bob Camp is the real star of Ren & Stimpy.

A most awesome job you did of drawing this classic Ren and Stimpy moment in your own style, and sometimes I feel like going off on a psychotic rant like Stimpy did here if I'm overworked.   This was also the R&S episode that made me a fan of Raymond Scott's music.

It's also good to know I'm not the only one who doesn't outright hate the Games Animation era of R&S episodes (I'd even argue that Games had some episodes that were better than a few Spumco ones).

Fav'd!!
