Sorcière (Sorceror), premiering from atop The Forbidden MountainCan't seem to get out of this Mucha x Disney phase! Not sure I ever want to! Anyways, this was inspired by one of my favourite Mucha works, "Lorenzaccio" [link] I wanted to create a poster for Maleficent, as if it was for her own feature film, or just for her
. Since I love the old red-concept art of Maleficent, I decided to pay respects to it, I love Maleficents' purple, but red would have been kick ass as well.The Mistress of all Evil belongs to Disney.

Just beautiful! I saw this at the #art-nouveau-club and fell in love. She's always been my fave Disney villain, next to Jafar. I really loved the attention to detail in including the sword with the flames and her dragon form in the border areas. This is just sleek overall!
I'm curious to see what they're planning for a Maleficent movie. I hear Angelina Jolie will be in it with direction by Burton! O_o
