As Elery parts ways with what would be a younger version of her possible love interest, she leaves him a promise, ensuring further hope for the future. As she returns to the Time Nest, she nods to Elder Kai and Supreme Kai of Time before seeing Trunks slowly walk up to them all, bowing his head.

Trunks: I'm sorry I acted so rashly back there....

Supreme Kai of Time: Just don't do it again. I understand how you must feel, but I can't allow you to do things like that. It's dangerous...

Trunks: Yeah...

And then Trunks turns to Elery, a expression of guilt on his face as he looks to her now.

Trunks: And... I own you an apology too. I'm really sorry...

He then bows his head low to her, causing her to blush deeply.

Trunks: ...That, and... thank you for all you did.

Elery: R-Right. Of course Trunks. I... I was glad to help...

Though she smiles at him, she can't stop blushing. Was she really feeling love for Trunks? It sure as hell felt that way...

Yet at the same time, she couldn't help but see the guilt and sadness in Trunks's eyes, and her heart ached more... she felt so sorry for him, and wanted to help him.
