"Dad!" A young kid Trunks said as he runs up to his father. But Vegeta turns and embraces his son, proud of him and telling him to be safe, before knocking him and Goten out. Nodding to Piccolo and Elery, the Saiyan Prince turns to Majin Buu and powers up once the others were far enough away."I know how to be rid of you now... for good! I'll keep you from coming back this time... by blowing you TO DUST!!!"
And as Vegeta prepares to make the ultimate sacrifice, he speaks silently in his mind...
"Farewell... Bulma, Trunks... even you... ...Kakarot!"
And releasing all his energy in a Final Explosion, he blows himself up destroying Majin Buu. But of course, as history so proves... Majin Buu was far from finished...

Indeed, one of the most touching moments concerning Vegeta. Really amazing how so changed he becomes just from being with Bulma.

But yea, it is a touching scene regardless. Seeing Vegeta's more tender side when it comes to his own son... it really shows how in the end, as cold hearted as he used to be, deep down he DOES care for his son and Bulma. We know that for a fact, or else he wouldn't also have reacted the way he did
when Beerus slapped Bulma.
