Description I made this for fun based off of the Fallout universe.

Full Name: Unknown Known Aliases James Logan
Age: Unknown Age Estimation 35-40 years old
Height: 5 foot 3 inches
Weight: 195 pounds

Strengths: James is a incredible hand to hand fighter and in his many years of wandering he has never met a man, woman, creature, robot or alien that could best him in that regard. He is also very competent with blunt or edge weapon but prefers sharp object for most of the time. Also he as been shot and stabled and has still kept on coming. If anything his willpower and tenacity are in the end his greatest assets.
Weaknesses: James lacks competent ability to use weapons of long range and also has problems against them. Such as the time he was pinned down in a old house for almost a week because of a sniper. Also James has gotten himself into trouble more times then he could count, on account of his short temper and bad people skills (Don't start a bar fight with some guys from the Legion). And on top of all that James has said that he is cured. Bad luck is the only luck he's got. Its only because of his skills and will that he has survived terrible encounters.
Fighting Style: He fights ferociously with speed and savagery often going into a blood rage. Hes movements are fast and frightening, like a wild animal. But his strikes are not wasteful but are calculating and very dangerous. One legionnaire even called him "The Blood Artist". But there are sometimes where James has been forced to use mid range weapon's. James has some skill with a pistol and the one he keeps at his side is know as "The Last Resort", and for good reason.
Weapon of Choice: James is the most deadly with his clawed knuckles named "X" and use's that most of all. But perhaps he is arguably as good with his bare fists or even with edged weapons like his sword.

Personality: James is a man of little words. He is more of a "Actions Speaks Louder Then Words" type of guy. But he will speak his mind and nothing else. He has no verbal filter at all and is not much of a "people person". More often then not he gets almost psychotically enraged and says and does things he really doesn't mean. Amazingly enough he does have a moral center and code that he lives by which he learned mostly from reading prewar comic books. But most of the time he keeps to himself.

Brief Bio: Spending a unknown amount of time wandering the wast land not knowing where he's from, where he was or even his own name he was recruited by a gang of friends that hunted Super Mutants for a living, near Washington DC. They gave him a name and that name he has been using all this time. He became the best out of all of them. Quickly dispatching there targets and getting paid by the Brotherhood Of Steel for each head they brought back. But everything went to shit when James was the only one to survive a massacre when the Super Mutants and a gang of mercenary's started a war in downtown DC. James only wanting to return the dog tags of the fallen Brotherhood but was then blamed for the deaths and called a murderer. A argument started between James and some new recruits and in the confusion, guns were fired and James had to defend himself and thus had to run for his life out of DC and back into the wastes.

Going many miles south traveling with caravans and traders. Making caps by killing creatures others found dangerous. James soon found himself in Nevada. But his bad luck came with him, almost as quickly as he got there he ended up on the bad side of the Legion over a simple paying dispute of beer. Soon swords and guns were at his throat and he had to defend himself. Thus how he got the nickname "The Blood Artist" from the Legion. Soon a bounty was put on his head, even being captured and put into slavery. Then quickly escaped due to he's slavers lack of knowledge of whom they had enslaved.

Some nights he has strange dreams of drowning, men in strange suits talking to him, fighting, killing. Things he never remembered doing but the dreams tell him otherwise. Most of the strange men's words from his dreams were muffled, like there trying to talk under water but some words remain prevalent in his mind. Weapon is one of those words. James thinks little of himself because of that word. He thinks it might be true. That all he is good for is killing, a living weapon.

You do realize his real name is Jimmy and he's like at least 150 years old right?

Wolverine's birthname is James Howlett

Logan was a name he chose for himself and Wolverine was codename when he was part of Weapon X

also Origins butchered his original story

This is a made up character based off of the Marvel character Wolverine placed in the Fallout universe. His real name was James and he's probably more along the lines of 120 years old.

Well besides the fact that it is a horribly shot and edited film(like how Logans hair keeps changing lengths) and butchering X-Men and Marvel lore. Dont get me wrong Sabertooth was one of the best things in the film but they also managed to ruin Deadpool and a bunch of other little things.

Anyway i can tell you come of the best Wolverine comics if you would like to know more about the real character? Here are some of my favs.

Wolverine Origin (dont mistake this for "Wolverine Origins")
Wolverine Collection wolverine #1-4 uncanny x-men #172-173
Wolverine Collection Marvel Comics Presents #72-84
Wolverine The End
Wolverine #1-13 2003
Wolverine Weapon X #6-15
Astonishing Spider-Man & Wolverine
Ultimate Wolverine Vs Hulk
Wolverine Old Man Logan

Those are just some of my favorite. You mite like some of them

The best at what he does. And what he does ain't nice.
I fully support this guy in in this tournament.

Bones: And I fully support strapping Semtex to his chest and pushing him off a cliff. And then dropping a mini nuke on him, just to be safe. I ain't taking any chances when going up against porcupine head.

Mmm I'm not really sure about this. An OCT is an "Original Character" tournament, and this is just Wolverine. The names are even just a fusion of his alias's (or did they make James Howlett his canon name recently? I forget). I'm a bit uncomfortable, which is why accepting it has been delayed since we've been talking amongst ourselves whether or not to allow it.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

ChrisBryer In reply to oakworks [2012-12-15 20:23:06 +0000 UTC]

Well that was kind of the point. This is the character i made for Fallout3 and New Veges so i thought this should be the one i would use. Its not like i say hes reall name or age. Everything i used for the character is lore friendly. Hell, even the hair style and the sideburns are right from the games. Now yes i know this is based off of the Marvel character Wolverine but hes for sure not the same person. Hes human, he does not have a adamantium skeleton grafted to his bones (the perk is there mostly cuz i can ) and the list goes on. Sure there are simularitys but i do exsplain that from him reading "prewar" comicbooks so thats how he can have some "super hero" mantalitys.

You dont have to accept it if you feel this kills the point of your group. I did this for fun really. And i thought having this character in your tournament would be fun to. But just so you know its not like i dident put any work into this. Also i just want to point out that i do have characters of my own creation but i thought most of them would be unsiuted to be in somthing like this. Plus i never used any of those characters in the games so it would feel odd to do so here.

(sorry for spelling errors, spellcheck not working)

Charisma should be higher... Or have the Lady Killer Perk.

AHAHA! So true. I did think of that but to be honest i based this off of the character i made for Fallout 3 and i never used perks like that in the game but perhaps having perks like that for something like this would probably be useful.

CanRay In reply to ChrisBryer [2012-12-14 18:50:40 +0000 UTC]

I always used those perks. Damned useful!

Especially in New Vegas. I'm surprised Mr. New Vegas wasn't announcing the dangerous, homicidal, sociopathic, raging bisexual that was terrorizing the Mojave Wasteland! Then again, I had a whole lot of ammo it would have been a shame to waste.
