You pick up the quest, navigate your way through a not-so-scary tunnel or forest. Upon exiting you sigh at the sight of some very intimidating scenery that you must go through to kill X and complete your quest e.deviantart.net/emoticons/d/d… " width="21" height="15" alt="
I'm not a huge fan of roughly painted digital paintings but the seemingly lazy technique seems to suit this piece, giving it many sharps edges and emphasising the contrasts. The general colouring of this piece is pretty typical of the theme. The contrasts are what make this piece the standard that it is.

I've been checking out some absolutely stunning digital art in here for several hours today, typically pieces of very similar style to yours... I love the atmosphere of this painting, the style, but most of all i love the hero. He is so gritty and dark, and he exudes a quiet jedi/sith kind of power with his robes and sword

Man, this is unbelievable, just out of this world! Even though the concept and composition is far from being anything revolutionary, the atmosphere is so well captured that it well compensates for just about everything else! And what an atmosphere there is! Excellent impressionistic brushwork and a good sense of depth/focus too.
