Critique everything you see
Ok well frist off, amazing job on the nebula. It flows very smoothly and looks amazing, it is one of the best i've seen.
As for the planet, I think, as mentioned above that if you lower the atmosphere it would look better. If I am not mistaken atmosphere is due to the plants from the planet. Your planet seems to be a rocky wasteland, so the atmosphere wouldn't be very big at all.
Then the lighting on the planet seems way to strong compared to light source. The nebula itself does not have that bright of a light. So if you just lower that down I think it would help alot and not take so much attention away from the nebula.
All in all extremely well done. Just a few small things I noticed here and their.
I hope you don't mind some C&C from a mediocre space artist such as myself.

I also thought about all this when creating the picture, but my goal was to create something fantasy-like and surreal. In the first place it should look good and aesthetic.
Maybe you're right, i will work on the planet anyway, considering critics from you guys
Though i dont think that the glow around the planet is the problem. I made it just to make the planet look more integrated into the picture so it somehow coexist with the nebula and not just flies in the air like a textured sphere... i hate this. I think the problem is the texture, also i have to agree that changing it to a more earth-like one might help.

Hmmm, I think i hate the planet cause i just hate to focus on planets when the main thing is the nebula. I think small planets would fit perfectly without the big one, but unfortunately i started making the planet first so it stayed in the pic
Maybe i'll delete it anyway, after some hours of sleep XD
