Yes, this one and most of my other work is pure digital. Sometimes i sketch with pencils but any illustration work is finished in Photoshop

Well digital art can be very similar to traditional painting, all the software and the drawing tablets have options to simulate what real brush strokes would look like, so as long as you learn it, it becomes just a tool like any other.
Also tablets are becoming very affordable now, so even a hobbyist can easily get into it.
